The strange feeling that is graduation

It has been a weird week for me this week. I have entered into a strange transition, from dependance to independance.

In a few months time I will have moved from relying on family generosity as I get through uni, to being able to support a reasonable standard of living on my own (if I want to go that way).

In the meantime, it is a sad day. A lot of the ways in which I had come to serve my Lord and put his kingdom first are now needing to be done differently.

The wait for work is going to be potentially frustrating, but I am lucky to be blessed with a job already.

The worst feeling is not knowing what I should be putting my energy towards. I have downsized lots of stuff so that I can focus properly on work next year.

Oh well, I wonder what life will be like after Christmas. Who really knows... in a bit over a week I will be on a well deserved holiday... and I will be loving it.
